If you tell anyone in Japan that you are visiting Hokkaido, they have only one recommendation for you.
Eat.
Eat and eat, and when you think you can't possibly eat anymore, eat again.
Keeping this in mind, Mr Double-glazed (previously Fritz), Just E, and I set about stuffing our faces with everything Sapporo had to offer.
During the festival there are market stalls everywhere, with all manner of delicacies available.
I never want to eat again.
