It is half past today, the emergency lighting in my room just flicked on.
It is snowing outside, and I believe the power has gone out in the whole of the ryokan. The funny thing is, I would have slept through the whole ordeal if not for the emergency lighting telling me that everything is okay.
I can't work out how to turn it off, I really hope it extinguishes itself when the rest of the power returns, otherwise this is going to be a very long bright night.
